​Free Spirits Farm Sanctuary is a charity rescue based in Glenrowan, VIC, who have made a commitment to care for the sheep and lambs who have been neglected and forgotten by others. Run by a close friend of ours, Leah Bell, we have watched over the last decade as Leah turned her property into an animal shelter and took in factory farmed and neglected animals in much need of a safe space and the chance to be shown that not all humans have forgotten about them.

 

Leah had over 80 animals at one stage, including chickens, cats, sheep, pigs and rabbits just to name a few! Leah is up early every morning tending to her animals' feeding needs and balances her sanctuary with her job that she needs to work to be able to sustain her sanctuary. In recent months, Leah has focussed on sheep and lambs which she has a special spot for.

We have always known what a kind heart Leah has and we are so proud of what she is doing to help animals that are often forgotten despite them being highly social and intelligent mammals.
